Canvas
This has been my favorite project on the whole year. It was a similar to the project of our semester exam. Well what i saw it was similar was that he had to choose someone meaningful to us and draw it. I chose The Edge, which is the U2 guitarist and U2 is my favorite band of all time. Before starting the Project we needed to practice having a picture and then drawing it in a larger size. after the practice we draw our person in the canvas and after that we needed to made shades on the face with a scale of 1 to 5 also having to do with another exercise we did before. Then we painted it based on the shades and at last we had to paint the back ground with the contrast color we used before.
I loved this project because we were able to discover our skills with the painting brush and the canvas. I also had a lot of fun spoiling up all my shirts on each art class because I always did a mess with the paints and one class i ended up painting Martina's shirt and i felt horrible about it. but in
Semester Exam
This was our first semester exam. It consisted on taking a picture of someone that mean something for you, it could be any person at all. the next step was tracing its facial important lines with a pencil and this way have a very simple design of the face. The next step was choosing lyrics or maybe writing something meaningful that had to do with the face. Once you had that we started writing it all over the traced lines of the face so that the lines are replaced by the writing. you could give different effects like using pencil and pen to adding shades and making it more professional and maybe using also this technique for writing your name or something else.
This was a very interesting project because we were able to choose we wanted to draw and also write a message on it. I learned had to draw faces just by tracing and ending up with a great drawing. It was truly fun but i had a little trouble on choosing the person and then i had more trouble choosing what to write on it. I ended up drawing Eminem and writing the lyrics of his most meaningful song of his movie 8 Mile. It was a great semester exam and I also had a very good grade, which made me very happy.

Architecture
This was our first work that had to do with our new unit of architecture. we needed to research on any type of architecture, a certain building or place, or a architect. I chose a building that I think its amazing. La Sagrada Familia located in Barcelona. It was designed like in the 1800 and its still not finished. its supposed to be ended by 2050 and it needs to have like 18 towers and it only has 6 by now. We had to paste at least 2 pictures of the Building or type of architecture and also mark structures that are commonly used in architect.
This was a very interesting project to introduce us into architecture. I learned a lot of thing about this architect, which I dont remembered his name, but he was a very interesting crazy man that belived he belonged to the lower class. I also got a lot interesting on architecture and that made me do some great designs on the next work.
